Integrated Waterfront Resort

Representing the largest private investment in Sri Lanka the Waterfront Resort is comprised of a 6-star hotel tower, two residential towers, one office tower, retail mall and convention center.  The unique design provides for each building typology to have its own character via the highly articulated façade elements.  Mindful of the difficult marine environment in Columbo the facades are designed to rinse clean and resist soiling and corrosion.  The facades feature unitized construction and rain screen assemblies to reach the highest performance levels for each building.

Review and comment on constructability and technical aspects of specified materials and assemblies.  Systems included unitized curtain wall, high span glass walls, rain screen facades and curvilinear roofing elements.
