Tactile Molten Cast Glass™
Tactile Molten Cast Glass™
Often referred to as crucible glass, our glass ingredients are combined and heated to a toasty 850 to 900 degrees Celsius (1500 to 1600 degrees Fahrenheit). The molten glass is then poured into bespoke molds of either graphite or ceramic composites and then annealed. This method of casting allows us to cast large elements spanning up to 4000 MM X 2000 MM (157” X 78”). Molten cast glass has a depth and character that reflects the artisan process required to create each unique piece.
